100 bp DNA Ladder
The 100 bp DNA Ladder is ideal for determining the size of double stranded DNA from 100 to 1,000 base pairs. This ladder consists of DNA fragments in 100 bp size increments from 100 to 1,000 bp, and an additional fragment of 1,500 bp. The 500 bp fragment is present at a higher concentration and therefore displays greater intensity on ethidium bromide gels, serving as a convenient reference point. The markers can be radiolabeled using T4 Polynucleotide Kinase (exchange reaction). Each 150 µL tube is sufficient to load 50 lanes on a typical gel. The 100 bp DNA Ladder is supplied with 6X Loading Buffer.

1 kb DNA Ladder
The 1 kb DNA Ladder is ideal for determining the size of double-stranded DNA from 250 to 10,000 base pairs. This ladder consists of DNA fragments ranging from 0.25 kb to 10 kb. The 1 and 3 kb fragments are present at a higher concentration and therefore display greater intensity on ethidium bromide gels, serving as convenient reference points. The markers can be radiolabeled using T4 Polynucleotide Kinase (exchange reaction). Each tube of 500 µL is sufficient to load 200 lanes on a typical agarose gel. The 1 kb DNA Ladder is supplied with 6X Loading Buffer.
